If you would like to join ESG as a student, Chapter Advisor, retired professional, or alumni member, see the chart below for details on membership levels, descriptions, and annual fees.

Full-time student (undergraduate or graduate) who is currently enrolled in a program or major/minor which focuses on the NCHEC Areas of Responsibility. |
$50 for induction into local chapter + 1 year of membership ($100 value)

$75 for induction into local chapter + 3 years of membership ($150 value)

| Student (Renewing) | Full-time student (undergraduate or graduate) who is currently enrolled in a program or major/minor which focuses on the NCHEC Areas of Responsibility. | Fee of $25 to renew membership annually up to graduation |
| Professional Member (Chapter Advisor** or Retired Professional***) |
Holds an active position in the profession of health education and/or holds a degree in health education/public health or related degree. |

| Alumni Member**** |
Health Education professional who was previously inducted into a local ESG chapter and has graduated within the last 12 months from a program which focuses on the NCHEC Areas of Responsibility. |

Holds an active position in the profession of health education and/or holds a degree in health education/public health or related degree. This individual does not currently serve as a local Chapter Advisor and is not retired. |
$75 or $750 for Lifetime Membership |
*Newly initiated student members will have a membership profile created by the National ESG Office and receive an email to access their profile and other member-only pages on the website. Students should log in annually to update and renew their membership.
**Chapter Advisors must be serving in that role to a Local ESG Chapter. To receive this benefit, make sure your chapters information is current.
**Retired professionals must be individuals who have retired from the field of public health education. These individuals may receive additional screening to determine membership eligibility upon applying.
****Alumni members will only receive a free membership in this role for up to 12 months. To renew ESG membership after this, members may need to select a different membership level.
