Travel Grants for Chapters
Travel and Professional Development Grants are designed to assist with chapters’ efforts to provide professional development to their Natioanl ESG members. These funds may be used to support travel to and attendance at professional meetings, conferences, and events. State and national professional conferences and local training events are eligible for funding. Total available is up to $1,000 per application, and typically up to a total of $5,000 will be awarded each academic year, with a current review cycle deadline of February. So submit as soon as possible!
To be eligible for funding, chapters must be in active status, and have submitted the previous year’s annual report (which includes the chapter’s budget information).
Funding is available as follows:
Submission dates for each academic year are due February 1, but should be submitted with sufficient lead time to allow for planning and review prior to travel. If expenses were incurred during Fall of the academic year, please submit for consideration for reimbursement.
Travel Grant Proposals
Proposals should be developed with the following proposal format. A copy of the cover sheet should constitute the first page of the proposal. The narrative should constitute up to two pages of the proposal including an itemized budget. The proposal should be limited to no more than three pages including the cover page.

Proposal Review & Notification
Travel grant proposals will be reviewed by the ESG Board Members on the 2nd Friday of each month. Chapters can expect communication regarding their proposal the following week.
