Dr. Jennifer L. Evans is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Texas A&M University (TAMU). She earned her PhD in Health Education and Promotion from The University of Alabama, and an MEd in Health Education and BHWP in Health and Wellness Promotion from Texas State University. Her research interests include intimate partner violence, women’s health, and human sexuality with a special interest in condom negotiation strategies and college hookup culture. In addition to teaching and research, Dr. Evans serves as the Director of the Health and Community Health Honors program at TAMU. She is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) and a professional member of SOPHE, APHA, and ESG.
