The Vision is a newsletter produced semiannually. It is composed of articles written by fellow Gammans and Board Members. The publication is posted on the Eta Sigma Gamma website in the Spring and Fall of every year. The purpose of The Vision is to keep members up-to-date with current events within the organization, as well as recognize specific members and chapters.
The Vision newsletter’s mission is to provide articles related to teaching, research, and service within the health education field, information about current events within ESG, and to recognize members and chapters for their accomplishments. The Vision serves as a platform for members, chapters, and/or Board members to submit an article related to ESG’s mission and goals.
To submit an article for publication, email the article to the National Student Representative at studentrep@etasigmagamma.org. Within this email, please include: author(s), indication of the corresponding author, article title, the article (include sections and references if appropriate), and photographs (if applicable). The National Student Representative will review the article and contact the corresponding author with comments and/or acceptance.
Additionally, each issue of The Vision contains chapter spotlights. If you are interested in having your chapter featured in an issue of The Vision, the chapter needs to complete the Chapter Spotlight Template and email the completed template to the National Student Representative at studentrep@etasigmagamma.org.
Submissions for the Fall issue will be accepted until October 1st and submissions for the Spring issue will be accepted until April 1st.
