Travel and Professional Development Grants are designed to assist with chapters’ efforts to provide professional development to their membership. These funds may be used to support travel to and attendance at professional meetings and conferences. State and national professional conferences, invited speakers, and local training workshops are eligible for funding.
If you have any questions about applying for Travel or Professional Funding, please contact the ESG at nationaloffice@etasigmagamma.org. Funding is limited to $300-$500 and is based, in part, upon the percentage of member involvement. Chapters are encouraged to collaborate with other regional chapters when applying for chapter development grants to fund workshops, professional training, or invited speakers. Submission dates for project, travel and professional development grants are rolling, but should be submitted with sufficient lead time to allow for planning and review prior to travel. Grant applications for past travel will not be accepted.
A formal proposal for the Travel and Professional Development Grant is not required. Submit the application, ensuring that it includes the chapter sponsor agreement.
Chapters must have submitted the previous year’s annual report (with the chapter’s budget information) to be eligible for funding.
