Julie SoulesExecutive Director
Julie joined Eta Sigma Gamma as the Executive Director in 2016. She oversees the strategic and operational responsibility of the Honorary; serves as liaison between the Honorary and collegiate chapters, Board of Directors, chapter sponsors, professional members, and strategic partners/organizations; manages all revenues and expenses in conjuction with the Treasurer; markets and promotes the organization through social media, website, emails, and conference displays; organizes events such as conference meetings, board meetings, awards ceremonies, program events; coordinates the creation of promotional materials; oversees the awards and special grant programs. She also manages the National Office initiation process of new members for all collegiate chapters and installation of new chapters. In the fall and spring, she coordinates publishing and distributing of The Health Educator, the Health Education Monograph Series and The Vision Newsletter. She maintains the website, online store, chapter roster, membership database, and oversees the discussion forum for chapter sponsors as well as online applications for membership, grants, and awards.
Prior to joining Eta Sigma Gamma, Julie served Ball State University for seven years as a Technical Assistant in the Office of Registrar and Enrollment and as a Human Resources Assistant. She previously served as a Claims Handler for State Farm Insurance and as a paralegal for a local attorney.
Julie’s creative outlets include all things textile related, including sewing, quilting, and crocheting.
